Uni-DAM is an engineered product manufactured from 0.7mm coated and galvanised steel or 0.9mm mill finish aluminium whichever is appropriate for the installation |

Snow
The Uni-DAM blades will hold snow on the roof and will become an effective snow guard. However, excessive snow can produce imposed loading on the roof sufficient to cause roof collapse. To cure the problem Uin-DAM is an ideal medium to introduce trace heating to melt the snow. Coupled with trace heating within the gutters and outlets, timed to melt collected snow first, build-up of snow can be relived. |
Height, blade gap, position and quantity
Provided by calculation following a survey. Uni-DAM blades will be positioned above end laps and will avoid roof lights and unsealed verge and barge flashing. |

Survey
It is essential that the correct roof and gutter information is obtained in order to provide correctly sized and positioned Uni-DAM blades and whenever possible Ampteam will provide this survey service. |
Installation
Uni-DAM blades are installed so that all fixing points are down-slope and away from the flow of the water. The fixing style and frequency is provided as appropriate for the roof type and roof material manufacture. A countrywide approved Contractor network is available to install the Uni-DAM system. |

Suitability
Uni-DAM is suitable for the vast majority of asbestos cement and profiled metal roofs and may even be suitable for some glazed systems. |
