Exhibitions • 01 February 2010
Following previous years success at exhibitions in around the UK and in Jersey and the Isle of Man we would like to take this opportunity to announce further one day exhibitions when we would be very pleased to welcome clients both old and new to see our products and the endless ways in which we are able to solve so many problems with Unifold. The one day exhibitions are the ideal way to drop in and chat about any problems you may have with leaking gutters, water ingress into buildings or any questions you may have about our products. Exhibition details Tuesday March 9th 2010 - Pride Park, Derby As further exhibitions are confirmed the dates of these will appear here. Please check regularly for updates. A Change of Unifold Joint Practice • 27 March 2009
In line with our policy of continuous improvement to our Unifold system we are introducing a change to joint fixing from 1st April 2009. Currently it is the practice to drill and rivet Unifold sections together via the butt strap following the application of joint mastic to the butt strap. Recently a 4.2mm diameter low profile head drill screw has been brought to our attention as an improvement in speed and application over the use of drill bits and rivets and several contractors have tried these with great success. Following this lead we have further trialed these screws and found an improvement in speed of application of more than 50% over drill bits and rivets with, we believe, an improvement to joint strength and integrity. These new fixings will be issued with all consignments from the above date together with P2 bits at the rate of one bit per 250 screws.
